if you could

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

if you could

Post by tomkingsbury »

odd post but had to be done - hope it hasnt been done before!!

Are there any players from the spudz u would like to see playing for the mighty gooners, or any u think would add to our squad??

personally, i dont think we need any (so u may wonder why the fuck i have created this thread) but i think there are a couple that could add to our squad.
firstly, ive always liked berbatov, was a bit gutted we didnt buy him when we were linked with him. adel taarabt is supposed to be a very good player with great potential and im quite surprised mr wenger didnt buy him considering he is yung and frech
other than that, the only other player would be ledley king - if injury free, as i do beleive he is a quality cb, just look at the state of their backline without him!!
the rest are just all hype, especially lennon dawson chimbonda et al.

Ledley is a liability. Great defender, but with someone as injury prone as he, we'd be wasting our time. I like Berbatov, but for some reason, I don't think he'd fit in here. I don't know why and I'm probably wrong, but I just don't think he fits the mould of this current generation of player we have.

Paul Robinson anyone?!

Maybe would make less mistakes if he had a defence like ours but in the last 18 months is from has been poor for club and country.

What about Lennon or Berbatov ??

But probably not 1st team

only two players the spuds have: berbatov and keane (I love keane's attitude and rate him very highly) ...

erm .. I will controversially add jermain defoe, as a squad/carling cup player who can graduate if he finds a good form ...

forget ledley keane, unless u are looking for sick bay staff .. b/c thats where he will reside most of the time ...

and true, rest are hype ...

Oh fuck off you like Keane cos his Oirish and flying the flag. Keane fitting into an Arsenal team? Yes sure and I'll just go an get me gloves. Berbatov looks good cos his surrounded by shit, not exactly what you want written on your public CV is it, looks normal but only upon the backdop of a pile of shit.

Keane!!!!

No no no young man! He has found his place at the Spuds.....a big fish in a small pond! He is as over hyped as the rest of them and truely believes he's bertie big bollocks! Hence the gymnastical abortion he uses as a celebration!

As for Defoe, my feelings on that spiteful nasty prick are well known! Somone who bites another player aint welcome at our club and considering he hangs out with Mr Tweedy god knows what's been in Defoe's mouth!

Been on the juice Wayno :?:

And Oirish? What are you going on about??

I agree in regards to Keane. But Berbatov is a good quality and intelligent player, and if he was surrounded by complimenting players and not the pile of shit he is at the moment, he could achieve something.

Other than that, they're all c**ts. :!:

Despite what everyone says, I don't really like Berbatov. Actually, i don't think Berbatov is any good at all, hence the reason he plays for the spuds...
