Spurs’ 125 years anniversary match (4/10)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Spurs’ 125 years anniversary match (4/10)

usual thread starter… you have to laugh. It would have been more fitting if it had ended 4-3 to villa, but in a sense the feeling of triumph at the end said it all. They had managed to salvage a point at home to a team that will finish mid-table, remaining firmly rooted in the relegation places. And yet you’d have thought they’d won the Champions League or something. (Actually, I didn’t catch the game as I was in Bucharest, but I am sure it went something like that)

It did.

Summed them up really for most of their history, love going forward but can't defend for love nor money. The celebrations have shown how far a once great club has fallen

125 glory years my ass

I hope Arsenal don't fall to Spurs level at a landmark point of the club
£10 a programme???? I don't mind paying a fiver for the big landmark games (Wigan & Ajax) but Spurs fans have been mugged off even more
