Did Arsenal win on your birthday?

Post by SammyDroppedHisShorts »

I was having this conversation with a fellow Gooner who could reel off all the results of Arsenal matches that was closest to the day we were all born...quite sad in one way

So you guys, do you have any idea how Arsenal did closest to the day you were brought into the world?

And have the Gunners played on any of your birthdays and spoilt the day?

this year they lost 4-1 to chelsea the day before mine....On top of that they also lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the FA Cup final in 2001. However they completed the double against everton in 2002 so not all bad!

It is actually my b'day today so Arsenal never play on my birthday.

Each season's opener is probably the nearest and I can't remember as losing too many of those aside from coventry in recent times?

Rob.

I was born on the 10th May 1980, the day we lost the Cup final to the Hammers thanks to the only time Sir Trev ever headed the fucking ball in his career. :banghead:

So I've been a bad omen since day one!

Rob, was the Coventry match the one where Fat Mickey Quinn got a Hat-rick?
