Listened to AW interview after the Barnet game today and his comments on the imminent (as it was then) departure of barndoor " we will miss hin " we can cope without him" " two in one out, with players coming back from injury".
Now, I despite my serious doubts over Wengers mental well being am willing to see how the first couple of months of next season unfold before making (what lets face will be a damning judgement of l'idiot)
Yet I am very concerned that there was a statement of intent or rather lack of it, in Wengers comments regarding our hopes for more signings .

Same here. I really thought he turned a corner regarding transfers but apparently not.

What happened to the signings promised before pre season??

I am usually with you Gooner sid but I am optimistic given that he has moved early in the transfer market.

If however, he does not use the cash raised from selling that *word censored* to reinforce further it will tell me all I need to know about the ambitions of Wenger and the club in general.

If we don't bring in a proven striker and/or a another cental midfielder we'll do even worse than last season.

This is critical, absolutely critical now... This season will shape our future for years.

We need to give him time to spend Adecashwhores transfer money. If by the start of the season we havent bought anyone else i will be worried

I think we all agree that offensively we will always score goals.....but like today when it was 2-1 i said as i went to the loo "i bet its 2-2 when i go back to watching the game....

He has to buy the players we need in the next ten days and not wait till transfer deadline day and miss out on players like we did with Alonso year.He cant turn around and say he hasnt got any money

I was disappointed with those comments too.

If the squad isn`t good enough, why haven`t they won the league in the last 5 years? That means Wenger is not good enough then?

What is wrong with him? He is so stubborn and foolish sometimes, just never learns from his many mistakes?

Owen was available on a free and he didn`t even attempt to sign him!

I agree we need to sign players ASAP so that they can settle into the squad before the season kicks off, im just not writing him of yet (regarding his comments).

We need at least 2 players and i hope he signs them with the money he has
