SO - WHO's ACTUALLY FROM NORTH LONDON???

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was born & brought up in Queens Drive and Brownswood Road - about a mile from Highbury. Moved out to Cheshunt when I was 12 and now live in Hertford.

During the school holidays I would go to Highbury and get the players' autographs as they turned up for training. Sometimes I would even sneak in and watch them train - a couple of times I sat in the dug outs with the players' kids. No chance of that today!

You'd be up before the magistrated before your feet touched the ground - unless you agreed to spend all your pocket money in the club shop!

Born in Slough surrounded by Chavs. My cousin was (is) a Gooner and took me to my first game in 1969. Lived everywhere since. I was living in NewYork in 89 pre internet, mobiles and American interest in "soccer" so didn't know we had won the league until about 2 days after!

now live in Woking surrounded by Chavs again but we are a very good second. i expect most of them will now disappear as Chelski are doing so badly.

After living in New York, you ended up in Woking? How shit is New York then??

Went on to the link - I posted a link to Craig Murray's blog when this all surfaced - pre removal of said blog. Disturbing stuff.

I think we need to keep this Usmanov stuff out there as long as we can before the bugger closes down everything. :x

Born in Wembley, moved to Finchely Road and then at the age of 8 moved back to the lovely Emerald Isle(Laois to be exact). There are so many Gooners in Dublin Airport travelling over to the grove for every home match that it really gives you a lift cos the media over here only think of manure and the thieving scousers

Seems to quite a few born in England whose families moved back to Ireland.

Is it me or is Dublin Airport really terrible for coping with passengers?

You have to remember that many Irish people used to live in Camden and areas around Arsenal back in the 50's and 60's etc. A lot of Cypriots who emigrated to the UK back then also moved to those areas hence the strong support.
