THE NIKE/ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB RIP OFF.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

THE NIKE/ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB RIP OFF.

Post by Mr FINSBURY PARK GOONER »

Arsenal/Nike have realesed two new kits for the last 4 seasons.

with 2 new crappy (WHAT A DISGRACE) real crappy kits i was shocked at when i went to pick these up for my excited son that they both have a 2010 expiry on them........

meaning next season we will be having up two 3 new kits. Disgusting.

P.S. last season the white jearsy we wore against AC Milan was stated as our 3rd kit.....

We wore it a massive 0 times.

Spurs always have a traditional yellow away kit in there locker, as man utd blue or white. Chelsea yellow or white. West ham d/blue or white etc etc.

ARSENAL WERE YELLOW AWAY!!!!!!!

Just say we get to a champions league or any final and we end up wearing white or blue.

F**CKING DISGRACEFUL!!!!!!!!!!

FU*K YOU NIKE......

FU*K YOU.

I won't buy them any more, home or away. If I want an Arsenal top I'll buy a 70s replica shirt. Can't stand us playing in blue but while all the mug punters cough up for these dumb arse non Arsenal kits, they'll keep producing them

I'm with you, I don't buy them anymore. I refuse to pay anything more than a fiver for one. :banghead: Even so, they're shit. As Spud said, that White one is a nice shirt, but it just ain't Arsenal. The thought of turning out in a big final playing in white doesn't seem right either. Fuck Nike, there will always be little kids that agg their parents to get the latest kit and so Nike will always be booming but I'm glad alot of the older lot refuse to be ripped off.

Wasn't it true that the reason we switched from adidas too nike in the first place was because the club said that adidas was abandoning our tradition, with kits like the 91 bruised banana away kit the 93 home kit with the black on the arms and the 94 away kit with the blue stipes across it, but at least adidas had the right traditional colours, and if we changed our kit maker to a lesser name sposer such as kappa or lonsdale would you buy it??
