Sunderland are in talks to sign him...i know a lot of you on here love him and want him at Arsenal... even though that's on the bases that someone made a decent compilation of him and put it on youtube!

hope he does go, then people can stop going on about him!

who wants to be the first to say Sunderland have more ambition that Arsenal and will finish in the top four?

oh by the way they are at the front of the queue for Chamakh too!

im quiet sure wenger doesnt want those players and its really on the basis of shit websites who are linking them to us that we feel we are losing out to the likes of sunderland.

so doesnt bother me really but i will add if we go into the season with the midfield we had last season then we are fucked .

I dont really know much about him so couldnt give a toss really.

Regardless of this, I do think Sunderland will be a dark horse this year, got a bit of Â£ behind them, seem to have sorted their overall set-up out, can see some solid signings for them.

Would he offer a bit more than what we currently have in midfield? Probably, but enough to sign him and then that's it, no more chance of signing a top notch midfielder? Nope.

When are you going to realise Arsene wants to buy, but he just hasn't got any money to spend, thats why he's not buying.......ok apart from the 25m for Ade that is..oh and apart from the 10-15m he was supposedly trying to buy melo with..oh and apart from the profits we made this year..oh and apart from the 70-100m we have sitting in the bank ...oh and apart from the half a dozen passengers we have that could be shipped out to raise more cash.

OK so he has got a little bit of money to spend but you can't expect him to compete with the big money boys such as Sunderland for christ sake, and anyway if we bought someone we would kill the progress of Eboue Song Denilson Diaby and Sylvestre is that what you want ..yeah i didn't think so.

And you know AW likes to bring through players from our youth team..you don't want them to be held back do you, because that has been a very successful policy, i mean just look at our first choice first 11, it's full of players that came through the youth team ...i mean theres......and theres ......and....Ok there isn't anyone in our first choice first 11 that came through the youth team but the system needs time to bare fruit, AW needs time, i mean it's not like he's been with us very long.

And don't try and argue that it's Aw's fault we are not buying quality players because whatever you say i will find another excuse why it isn't...it may contradict the previous excuse but hey who cares.

Sack the board...long live Arsene, without him we are nothing, he is the Arsenal....

ps....did you know he built the new stadium in his spare time with his own money...the man is a living god..

I'm fucking pissed off at this news. He is a leader and experienced and would be a brilliant partner for Cesc.

Just like when we missed out on Yaya, AW can brag about it in a few years.

just curious, of all people who are saying that cana would be a good player for us,

how many of you have actually watched him in 10+ matches?

i just ask that because right now fiorentina supporters are probably youtubing for ebouÃ© videos, watching them and posting on their forums "man, what a brilliant right back! strong, goalscorer, fast, experienced... please sign him!"

We all know that do we,
The post tax profits were around 25m thats after the loan payments have been deducted, that money went in the bank this year, last year, the year before thats why we have around 100m in the bank, that money was not used to pay any loans.
You will probably notice a dip in our gross profits this year due to the acquisition of AA thats where the money comes from, as it should, but in our case it rarely does, so i can understand why your so baffled
