As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Well he can either play on the right or up front and i'd rather have him than eboue and bendtner so if it means we buy him and get rid of eboue and bendtner then YES i'll be more than happy to have.
ultimatly i'd love it if the board breaks the bank and go and get RIBERY, now thats a player i'd love to see in the famous Red and White Shirt.

Yes indeed.
Sell Ade sell Bendtner, sell RvP and bring in Ribery.
No, he's not good enough, also we don't need any more attacking options we need a CB and a DCM any more money going on attacking options is just going to make it all the more unlikely we will get what we really need.
ARSENAL are planning a £7million swoop for Chelsea's Salomon Kalou.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger sees the 23-year-old young African Player of the Year as the ideal replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor, following his £25million move to Manchester City.
Adebayor's sale leaves Arsenal light up front, especially as injury-hit Croatian striker Eduardo is still sidelined and Samir Nasri is also out for six weeks with a broken leg.
Flattered
New Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti wants Kalou to stay at Stamford Bridge but Chelsea have yet to offer the Ivory Coast front man a new contract. His current deal of around £45,000-a-week runs out next summer and Arsenal would be prepared to up his wages to nearer £70,000-a-week to make him one of the top earners at the Emirates.
A Blues insider declared: "Salomon is flattered by Arsenal's interest, but at the moment he is fully committed to Chelsea."
Kalou, who joined Chelsea in an £8m transfer from Feyenoord in 2006, actually had a two-week trial at Arsenal before joining the Dutch club and Wenger has monitored his career ever since.
Kalou scored 10 goals for Chelsea last season but made just 17 Premier League starts and was behind Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka in the pecking order. But he is desperate for regular first team action and Arsenal could offer him that.
Agent
He is friends with Arsenal's fellow Ivory Coast internationals Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue and shares the same agent as Gunners' Dutch striker Robin Van Persie.
Wenger's only signing this summer has been little-known Belgian defender Thomas Vermaelen from Ajax.
The Gunners boss missed out on £15m Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo when Juventus snatched him from Fiorentina, while Wenger's bid for Bordeaux's £6million-rated Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh has stalled.
Chamakh has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, including the Gunners, London rivals Spurs, Sunderland, Blackburn and Fulham. But the Moroccan admitted: "I don't really believe a move to Arsenal is possible any more. Bordeaux are trying to convince me to stay."
I like Kalou, and suggested that would might buy him a couple of seasons back, but nothing came of it...he doesnt get too many chances at Chelsea and has said in the past his desire to play for Arsenal, i think it would be a good signing, especially at 7 Million!
oh great, another one who is going to piss off for a six week holiday half way through the season
thankfully i dont think its true, just another shit story that appears every now and again on a slow news day, eg obefemi martins etc
When the Chavs signed him I thought he’d be a much better signing for them than Shevchenko. In the end I was sort of right by default as a result of Cheggers managing to redefine the meaning of shite, but tbh Kalou’s never impressed me once for them.
He’d give us pace that we’re desperately short of up front but he’s never looked clinical in front of goal, most of his goals seem to be a bundled tap-in towards the end of the game when the c*nts in blue already have the game sewn up & more than likely he’d end up out on the right anyway. And as much as I think Theo has it all to prove I don’t see that Kalou would be much of an improvement.
I could see it happening though. If we took the money we saved buying him on the cheap & added it towards the fund to kidnap & clone Essien I wouldn’t be mad. But we wont.
Kalous not a bad player but if we are looking for an attacker we could do a lot better than him, he is no more than a squad player.
But the thing that annoys me most about this if it's true is how come as soon as we need attacking players we seem to put ten times more effort into getting them.
Yet there seems to be very little serious effort going into identifying and buying a DCM or a big quality CB and we have needed both for over a year.
Why are we not hearing about offers made for the likes of Alex or Yaya before he signed a new contract, these are the types of players we should have been moving heaven and earth to sign over the last year or so, we have had plenty of time and opportunity to entice both these players or others like them and yet it appears we have made little or no effort to do so, but no doubt everyones working round the clock now to get Kalou signed as quick as possible, yet he will make almost no difference to us as far as improving the team goes.
The most important thing in this story is the 7m fee.He is cheap in todays market.Kalou is not a bad player but he wont get 20+ goals like Humtelaar would.
