can i just point out that PV4, having spent 9 wonderful and trophy laden years with our club, was on the decline when he left in 2005 ... now, 4 years later he is 33 and has had niggling injuries at inter - remember the italian league is far less physically demanding than our premiership ...
so, if he wants to go to sperz then let him - his choice, maybe he can take a huge salary, warm their treatment table and laugh (along with me) as they struggle ...again !!!

Agreed....I'd always be grateful for what he's done. Players have always moved to and from the enemy for years. He's in his twilight years, fancies playing for Arry in a mediocre team. No skin of my back. Just looking at what we do because they'll forever be in our shadows!clockender wrote:If he goes to the Spuds it's to to-up his pension. Typical Redknapp signing, Paddy was on the decline already when Arsen let him go. His legs have gone and he won't be up to the pace of the Premier. That said, I'd rather he doesn't go there but I wouldn't boo him.
Remember, the man won 2 doubles with us.

I am sorry but I would rather eat my own left nut rather than see a hero of mine playing for The Heebs.
Paddy knows all about the "love" between the clubs and if he pulls on their shirt I would take it as a serious slap in the face!"
I don't care if he is 67 and has had a leg amputated. I don't care if he only plays 12 minutes for them. I just never want to see an Arsenal god wearing that fucking cockerel on a basketball on his chest!

footballers can still have moments of brilliance, no matter their age etc that is why they are professional footballers and teams still WANT them to play top flight football. I'd put money on one of them moments happening if he played against us.Swale_Gooner1985 wrote:I know what you are saying, but once they have gone then it doesnt really matter does it? especially if they are no good!Lost_Gooner wrote:i hear you but there is some ex arsenal players i would not like to see in a spud shirt , and he is one of themSwale_Gooner1985 wrote:I dont understand why everyone is getting so annoyed and worried about this...he was excellent for Arsenal, and then he went, and if he goes to the spuds..who cares...he is no good anymore and i cant say it would bother me in the slightest!
