What’s so urgent for Stan Kroenke? (5/10)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What’s so urgent for Stan Kroenke? (5/10)

usual thread starter… Something’s afoot. I suspect all will be revealed at the AGM on October 18th, but until then we can only speculate. Must have been pretty urgent though. How do you feel about Stan Kroenke now he has distanced himself from David Dein?

I think Stan is smelling of roses now ... lets hope usmanov finds the resistance too much, and bugs off to somewhere else ... perhaps spurs ...

Stan Kroenke

It might be a good idea to invite Stan on to the Board as an non-executive director,he is obviously a man who knows a bit about sport and he might have some good ideas about increasing revenue even more. Also it`s important to keep him onside as he has a sizeable stake in the club. With the Board holding 45% plus the shares held by the Arsenal Trust Stan`s holding would bring the total to an excess of 60% which would make it impossible for Usamov to gain control.

This is good news I think.
Maybe Stan Kronke is being invited onto the Arsenal Board Which would block the takeover bid.

or...

Stan has relised that he is unlikely to gain control of the Arsenal, so he's going to sell the shares back to the board members once he is allowed.

Arsenal Shares

I understand that the reason the Board is not buying shares is that their lock in agreement prevents them not only selling shares but also buying them.Perhaps the Board will buy Kroenke`s shares in April 2008 when the lock in ends.

Have you notice how in that pic with the Stanley Cup Kronke looks just like Borat.

Borat vs the Uzbek?
