ANGRY Thierry Henry
ANGRY Thierry Henry has denied reports saying he told Patrick Vieira to sign for Tottenham.
Barcelona's ex-Arsenal striker rapped: "I am Arsenal through and through. I'd never advise ANYONE to sign for Tottenham.
"Patrick Vieira is a grown man who will do whatever he has to do for his own career.
"But I have never advised anyone about their future because it's not my business."
He added: "I can't have Arsenal fans thinking I am helping Tottenham in any way.
"The truth is I was talking to Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and he told me he was trying to sign Patrick from Inter Milan.
"I was very surprised because Patrick is like me. He loves Arsenal.
"I just said that Patrick would be a brilliant signing. But I also made it clear I would be shocked if it happened."
Arsenal beat Hungarian side Szombathelyi Haladas 5-0 last night.
Eduardo and Nicklas Bendtner netted twice. Robin van Persie also made the scoresheet with a penalty.

If only they were all made like TH14. I knew he'd clear up all that shit about encouraging ex-Gooners to sign for that shower.....nuttygoonerpaul wrote:ANGRY Thierry Henry has denied reports saying he told Patrick Vieira to sign for Tottenham.

How can you even say that. The bloke was playing on one leg, yes he missed a good chance to make it 2-0 but how did it bottle the final?DB10GOONER wrote:
Shame you bottled that CL final and ruined my life though...
He worked is arse off leading the line on his own with us being down to 10 men, being kicked in the air every time he got near the ball.
I hate the way people say players bottled certain occasions because they miss a good chance. You've been listening to Adrian Durham to much mate.

Take off your rose tinted specs. Henry bottled every final he played in for us. A great player sure, a legend yes, but he never performed in the big finals.WHL-71-04 wrote:How can you even say that. He was one on one with their keeper and he bottled it.
Love the childish Durham jibe.

Grow up.
