An Open letter to Arsenal fans

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The gooners who have already replied have on that website have been spot on. I would have gone and replied but there is nothing more to add. The gooners have all been objective, talked sense and made the original author look stupid with his views. Some of the reasons he was giving for certain players being better than others were so poor I couldn't tell if he was serious or was taking the piss.

Sorry, Ferdinand instead of Toure???? What the Fcuk!!! Ferdinand is shite for man u and even worse for england!!! And for me Sagna (who I admit I hadn't seen much of before he joined arsenal) looks like a much better player than Brown will ever be.

The person who wrote that clearly doesn't have a clue.......

Rio has been a major player for England in 2002 and 2006 world cups and he has played last season and this one for Man U.

For me, Ferdinand isn't shit - But I prefer Vidic out of the two and Toure to Ferdinand.. My partnership would be Toure and Vidic.

I third it but I accept any of Rio/Vidic/Toure as an acceptable cb pairing
