Senderos has signed for Everton

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I like him and he is still very young. And he is another body in the way of Silvestre getting games.

I agree with Rob if we buy a top class CB then it's fine but if we don't we have to keep Senderos.

I'm sad to see him go.

I'm also sad that it's him and not Silvestre going. We'll need another centre half, that's for sure.

Philippe Senderos has agreed to move from Arsenal to Everton according to the Swiss football federation.

HUge mistake selling Philippe! The guy is only 24 and is still a good defender in the EXACT mould what we need, big and strong. Defenders have their best years late twenties/early thirties, Everton are getting an absolute steal here!!! Not happy about this

another good move, clearing out someone who was never going to be good enough at the highest level. a player who cost us vs liverpool and who is too slow and error prone and doesnt have the positional sense to make up 4 it (again witnessed vs liverpool) and doesnt use his apparent strenghth either.

denilson next please and then 3 signings. DM CB and CF

Whats worrying me is that wenger thinks senderos is worth selling but not silvestre.Maybe they could give silvestre away as part of the deal.

Sorry but has Silvestre fucked somebodys mum on here or something?

Sure he hasn't set the place on fire but some of the criticism against him is totally unwarranted, biased and completely undeserved!

If Clichy's, Sagna's and Cesc's form last season was slated so much I could understand it but those guys never played for a rival did they!
