Pompey tickets - concessions in the upper tier!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Pompey tickets - concessions in the upper tier!

Post by Basil is a Gooner »

http://www.arsenal.com/juniorgunners/ne ... upper-tier

Only one block at the moment, but it looks like the club are finally realising that they cannot restrict concessions to the FE.

If it works I hope they would roll it out around the stadium.

I guess even junior bums on seats are better than none.....

Portsmouth tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am. For this match there will be family enclosure tickets available in upper tier block 117 in addition to the Family enclosure in the lower tier.
This is a great opportunity for Junior Gunners and Cannon Club members to purchase concession tickets in the upper tier.
Tickets for a grade B will be priced at Junior Gunner £17, Cannon Club £19 and adults £43.

Should have done this when AG opened. At least half the concessionary tickets should be upstairs so people have choice.

It ain't just the squad, Wenger or us - The Fans - who are under pressure from the first whistle.

The Box Office have a HUGE task on their hands, offloading tickets even for the so called 'Biggies' let alone Portsmouth, Hull, Burnley and Blackburn.

Tough times are ahead - and I'm not just trying to play Cassandra here - for the course of this season. Depending on how we perform on the pitch, it might get easier. Equally, it could get worse.

This will apply for all other clubs as well - even the Manc dross, as their plastics wilt quicker than most.

Wenger talks about Football being hit by 'economic reality in 8 months' - it will hit a whole lot quicker than that.

Spot the empty seats for the Portsmouth game and take it from there.

go to block 140 - you can sit with me, swale and Mr Tounge....you would all love that im sure  8)

All together now, "we love you Denilson, we do" :barscarf:

Seriously, cannot wait for it, I think Arsenal wont have too many empty seats 2bh, but football as a whole will be affected, and we of course wont be immune to it by any means.

Yes but it also help people such as red members who by the time they have the oppportunity to buy tickets in the FE find its sold out, and have to buy full price tickets; or people who like to sit in the upper tier!

The kids may be a pain but they are also the fans (and players) of the future.......

I had 1 kid last season who kicked the back of me seat for the whole of the 1st half AND as i thought was eating a bag of crisps for its entirity.
It just so happens that the packet was empty
But he must have been crushing the empty bag about an inch from me earhole.

He stopped when i turned round and gave him a...........""FUCKING MOUTHFUL""
