As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agree.
If they are on par with Rangers then there's not much to fear.
The biggest threat will be how the players cope with their atmosphere.
I don't think it will be easy as they will be up for it big time, but they are not a great team. If our standards have slipped so far that we cannot beat the runner's up in one of the worst league's in Europe then we just don't deserve to mix it with Europe's biggest and best.
Couldnt agree more! But i dont see us beating them up there, the best we can hope for is a score draw.
Its all down to what we do at home... Personally, not really looking forward to this one!

No team would have been easy but I'd rather a team like Celtic as you know what you get with them.
Let's be honest, the gulf in class was there for all to see on Sunday between the PL and the SPL even if it was a pre season friendly.
The first leg is key though and it will be a test of nerve for some of the players as the atmosphere in Scotland looks better then anything down here, let's hope they don't bottle it.
Atmosphere same old hype. Milan and Madrid are but a few with "atmosphere" and that dint stop us putting one behind their net. We will beat them at Celtic park.

Why cant we beat them up there? Its a big atmosphere, but when it comes to a football match I think we will have too much for a team that is mid-prem level at best!

So are fulham arnt they? And stoke? and Hull are lower then that, but we still didnt manage to beat them.
Our players have a habbit of thinking they can just turn up to win, and if they do that at Celtic Park, we will loose the game.
