As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
have not managed to watch the whole game through a good stream, only caught bits of it.
Seems as tho we still cant defend and did not create fcuk all. does not seem we have progressed from last year if anything gone backwards by selling 2 players and signing 1. Yet we still keep £50 mil in the bank
Likely phrases from wenger coming right up
"we had to rebuild our defence"
"we did not think we would lose rosicky and nasri"

Wenegers looks tactilly awfull once again. Anyone can see that bendtner cannot play out wide and that arshavin doesnt get enough of the ball stuck out wide on the left.
We shouldnt be playing with a lone striker up front and it is only wenger and the wenger die hards on here that think that this is a good fcuking system
What do the people who think man city will be shit because of their pre season think of this. we got out classed by a team who are behind us in their pre season games and who got beat 2-0 by man u last week?

and i hate Valencia even more than i did before.....fooking shithole football club
I agree and yet I think Celtic are shite. I can see us going up there all fucking cocky with this present mob, paying them no respect whatsoever and getting knocked all over the place in midfield losing 0-1. If that happens prepare for set-piece comedy capers at our place a week later.
God, this pre-season is even more depressing than the previous three and that really is saying something
What a ridiculously soft goal to let in. I think that the second half was a little better for creating chances. However, as for defence, let's just say I'm not looking forward to the new season. We got caught square so much, so easily. So many srupid tackles were put in, and as for Fabianski, well, the less said about him, the better.
It's a shame because I honestly do think that this team does have some really good attacking options. However, it is doomed to, once again, be let down by defence which wouldn't look out of place in a mid-table team.
