Guess who i picked up today?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Would it cheer you up to know that I have next week off, charlie?

Thought not. :D

Nighty night. Keep the wheels of industry turning in my absence. :D

Ya don't need holidays, when ya spend your working days sitting on your arse. :-P :D

Seriously, though, self-employment is not all that good. I had twentysomething years of it. You work your tail off. Every day you miss equals lost income. I now get 25 days holiday on full pay. Plus public holidays = another 5 days. Plus full pay if I'm off sick. Plus I don't bust a gut anymore. Plus my pay goes into the bank on the same day every month. Without fail. And I don't work weekends or evenings.

I love my job. Never suffer from the old Monday-morning-feeling.

Have you ever considered a change of job, ****'y?

I don't go on Holidays anymore, I just take a few weeks break abroad twice a year to get away from the monotony of golf, gardening, reading, on the PC, ETC
It is hard, but someone has to do it. :barscarf:
