It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

It just annoys me listening to them/reading what they write sometimes...there are so many people around the world who could do a much better job and get no recognition at all.
Thanks, RaM. Kind words, mate.
No worries.
So who do you follow in the A-League DB10? I'm guessing your once-local Brisbane?

Want to take the India Pacific railway all the way to Perth. Would be a great experience I reckon.
I'm sure I read in Bill Bryson's Down Under book that you have to change trains on the Indian Pacific as the train tracks are different widths from one territory to another!
I think the Indian Pacific also has the longest straight section of any railway line in the World!

Wow!
I read Bill Bryson's Gay Train Spotters from Bristol!
Ram, are Noarlunga (spelling?) still going? I knew someone who used to play for them in the late 70's, I went over to The Arsenal with him a few times when he visited here ????

Sadly no. All of my travel within Australia has been confined to the East coast (New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, ACT). But I do intend to rectify that in the next few years.

Pretty sure you don't have to change trains anymore...because the tracks are the same width now.
And it does have the longest straight section of straight track, its called the Nullarbor Plain.

I'm not sure...what sort of music are they?
I heard that they're a Karnivool tribute band apparently, whoever the hell they are...
