As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's all about 100% concerntration and whilst the Everton goal can be excused at 6-0 up, there will be plenty of times we play better and score none.
But didn't Cygan also have an awsome debut?
top post, number 5!!!

Yes he and gallas looked pretty solid today, with the exception of the unchallenged header that was cleared off the line, but tbh i was very surprised at just how toothless Everton were today i expected far more from them in attack and definitely expected more from them in defence where they were absolutely shocking.

Although spelt Vermaelen, it's pronounced 'Ver-mar-len'.

and that's not all:
you don't really pronounce the "n" in the end.
It's "Ver-mar-le".
Pays off to have a dutch gf.

Which makes it easier to come up with a chant for him. Using the Red Army chant:
Ver-mar-le!!
Ver-mar-le!!
Ver-mar-le!!
Ver-mar-le!!
Would sound great if one lot of fans shouted it first and then another lot echoed it back.
