As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

brazilianGOONER wrote:it's not only about players' performances. song was brilliant, denilson and fab were great, vermaelen too, but the TEAM performance impressed me. i don't want to sound wengerish, but there was commitment (we were marking them in their pitch as if we were losing 1-0, but we were winning 6-0!!), there was teamplay, there was desire, there was intelligence all over the pitch.

this IS our year, lads. :barscarf: :barscarf:
i think you made the key point - the team looked like they really believed in each other and were fighting for each other. gallas and tom looked like they really liked each other and a happy billy is a great billy. denilson was shit for the first thirty minutes, then with the goal he played extremely confident, much better, and actually completed passes - hopefully he continues this trend.

song was an absolute stud in there, the absolute key in the midfield. cesc was cesc.

andrei had a poor game by his high standards which is okay because i dont worry about him one bit. nik was much improved and rvp was much better today - less dribbling, more runs.

finally, most of you who hate eboue need to let it go. even as a sub he was running over to the players and pumping them up, congratulating them, and encouraging them. they really seem to like him - the best thing was for ade and his lack of camaraderie and selfish attitude to depart. well done all around.
