IS ANYONE NERVOUS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Funny thing is I am not nervous, I would normally be, but not for tonight.

TV3 in Ireland are showing game so I will be with you all in spirit.

Love Arsenal, hate Jocks :barscarf:

I don't what all the fuss is about, Celtic are no better than Birmingham or Wigan. All the chanting and atmosphere in the world won't stop an easy 3-0 stroll tonight making next weeks game moribund!

I'm already trembling! :D The season's first games are always special. I feel the same I did on Saturday afternoon, maybe the actual importance will intensify the feelings a bit later. But I don't expect a surprising result...

Not nervous but really looking forward to it.

I think it would be different if the first leg was at home though.

Oddly, for an optimist, I am a little nervous...I think it's 'cause my best mate is a 'bhoy' and the ridicule would be horrendous...

I am nervous and will be happy if we come back to ours with no more than a 1 goal deficit, especially if we have an away goal in there.

Celtic will be really up for this. This will not be a repeat of Saturday!

At the mother-in-laws for the week, so she's likely to learn some new language tonight.

And DB is right Gunner sore arse will be accusing us of favouritism. Come IHH delete it or go and support the mob down the road!

I'm not really nervous about tonight. I know we are better than them and we should beat them.

McGeady has said that they plan to get in and around (kick) Arsenal tonight, hopefully the lads will give as good as they get. [/quote]

Celtic will be no easy task at their own place. They rarely loose a European game at home.

They did manure at home in the champs league just a couple of seasons ago.

I'd take a draw tonight and beat them at our gaff on the return leg.
