I expect a couple of changes for this game and hopefully eduardo will play and his apparent last minute injury is nothing serious as we need to mix it up a bit.

As we are at home and pompey will play with everyone behind the ball i think wenger will play a 4-4-2

RVP doesnt play 3 games in a week so he wont play and with Eduardo possibly out we are left with 52 and Arshavin upfront.Lets hope Theo is fit cause i dont want to see that c**t Eboue starting. If Theo isnt fit play Jack. Its Pompey FFS

I too expect a few to be rested but it's absolutely crucial we have 6 points before going to Citeh & Utd. Hopefully the Arsh & Dudu will be on fire for this one. rtpgooner's line up doesnt look too far off what i'm expecting to see...

Holland Vs England

Arsenal Vs Everton

Celtic Vs Arsenal

Would make it 4 for the Persie.

But fuck it, they are going to citadel it up, and even with our usual formation we struggle at home against weaker sides. Why don't we start with the same as the first two games at least till 45. I'm sure this formation is being employed as it has the built in flexibility of making zero subs until later.

pompey have NO players, they have NO hope this season whatsoever, and thats according to the pompey fan marrying my sister on saturday of all days :banghead:

id be delighted if ramsey gets a start and wilshere makes an appearance from the bench, we should dispatch them with a similar ease to the everton game.

We know Hart will put out a team to try and make it difficult for us and he still has a team that can do that. None the less, at home, we should be looking to win this and avoid injuries if we can, wouldn't mind seeing a bit of rotation

After nearly missing last night with a tight hammie then being booted about for 90 mins I wouldn't be surprised if Cesc didn't feature at the weekend.

Think we'll win 3-1, but they'll make it difficult.

Personally I thought sagna looked like that knock he was carrying last night was affecting him so I would rest him and play eboue in his spot. After that I really dont know if we have the players to rotate too much cos we dont want to risk breaking the good start to the season. The eduardo injury thing is really beginning to concern me to the point that I am now thinking that buying another striker might be necessary after all. At one stage I did wonder if he was pulled last night for transfer reasons so as not to cup tie him for europe but I guess that is highly unlikely.

I am still waiting to see vela this season and am wondering what the fcuk is going on there :? If we are going to loan him out then fcuking do it now and move on otherwise give the kid a chance ffs. Right now I am really struggling to see where players like theo and wilshire (and possibly vela) will fit into this new system - if wenger (for some unknown reason  ) see's rvp as the figurehead instead of bedtner then where does these guys fit in when they get a game ? I would have thought that bedtner up top flanked by arshavin and rvp allows theo/wilshire/vela to rotate in for either of the wing men without altering our game plan too much but now if they sub in for bedtner we would be going from having a giant on the wing to having a midget and then changes your game plan drastically. Anyway I dont like the system much but what do I know
