Eboue Unsellable?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Eboue Unsellable?

Post by Nos89 »

Has one Gooner ever had as many songs to his name as Eboue? At least 5 song at Goodison!

Trust me, it's not a true or accurate reflection of how highly he's rated by the fans!! As the stereo-typical German in them old WW2 films used to say: "You British and your sense of humour!!"

he's become a 'cult hero' it would seem & we've always had them..

we all live in a Perry, Perry world

in terms of selling him, no player is unsellable

I think he's decent cover for Sagna but if the bloke wants to leave for not getting any games, well understandable

the boo's last season were shocking but the facts are he was'nt playing well & never really has done since he switched from right back

true but the fact is he is a quality quality right back and would start on nearly every other team in the world with the exception of a few (we are just lucky enough to have a top class right back ahead of him).

I don't think either Sagna or Eboue are top class right backs so to speak given how poor they are with their crossing..both pretty decent defensively & yes, a lot of teams would like to have them
