Free scarves for Portsmouth game?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I still own one of those satin-type scarves with the iron-on plastic lettering, saying NORTHBANK.

First time it was washed, the lettering cracked to fuck. It looks shit.

But I can't bring myself to chuck it in the wheelie-bin. :(

Still got mine too mate, was thinking of leaving it there the last day of the nb but could'nt bring myself to :wink: Best quality scarf I've still got from the 70s is the woollen one with the red and white stripes long ways and a red bar every now and then with white cannons with Arsenal in white above them. Might be be a shite description from me but I'm sure you'd recognise it if you saw one :wink: Hardly ever wore mine which is why it's in very good condition to this day even tho I've had it for well over 30 years :? :wink: :lol:

I was at the ground putting them out today. They're not the shitty ones in the membership packs. I was pleasantly surprised by them, they're like the ones from the club shop but without the cannon stitching.

The "Arsenalisation" looked alright. There's a 49ers mural, it's all been painted, and Victory Through Harmony is throughout the concourses.

Still a bit bare upstairs though but they're not finished.

A step in the right direction for the Grove.

There's a scarf on the seat but what they don't tell you is that under the seat are a selection of firecrackers, flares, banners and bullhorns. :twisted:
