Well done Abou...and why didn't MOTD show Kieran's excellent tackle?
I shall be reviewing this in the next 'Gooner'!
Neither did they show the standing ovation we gave our old NK25 nor the sporting applause for the injured James.
John Motson is so far past his sell by date as a commentator he should only be found in Costcutters.
Edit: The atmos was generally poor today - or regular these days I suppose *sigh* - aside from the pre-match semi surreal giggle of 57,000 scarf-waving BUT NOWHERE NEAR AS BAD as that shit show would have you believe.

Not surprised about Fabregas at all, the only thing I am surprised about is that Van Persie didn't end up crocked with him, potentilay 5 games in 14 days which has disaster written all over it and we've seen that now with Cesc.
There's a very good reason why he doesn't play the same team every week, our players have to be the most fragile on the planet so if they are having tight hamstrings but end up playing 90 mins midweek then why play them 3 days later before the 2 most important games in the season?
Bizarre to say the least.
The game was ok, result was great, this won't be popular but I though Eboue did well at right back, Gibbs had his moments but I'd prefer to see Traore get a run out if Clichy is not going to play as I think he offers a bit more with regards to being a polished player, Gibbs still had his moments for me.
Eduardo looked lively, Gallas and TV looked like a good partnership developing and was pleased that Ramsey got a proper run out and goal.
Hopefully Arshavin can step it up in the next game (he will be needed to) as I had him as C in my FF and he scored feck all, can't have it all I guess.

come on lads, 10 goals in two PL matches and you're complaining? i don't care if it's my dog or RVP scoring, it's bloody ARSENAL at the top of the league with 10 goals and two excellent victories. i don't mind if almunia does a manninger every week as long as we keep this freescoring attitude.
gallas will be leading goalscorer this season - and none with his foot or by purpose...![]()
some people on here wont be happy even if we win the treble mate, i have given up trying to convince them

Possibly your most stupid post yet, ramon - and that's saying something given the shit that has preceded it from you!!
Maybe just stick to copy and pasting, huh?

a home banker like Hull last season?Lethal wrote:WHY THE FUCK HAS WENGER PLAYED CESC IF HE WENT INTO THE GAME WITH A HAMSTRING PROBLEM ???????????
IT WAS A FUCKING HOME BANKER![]()

AND NOW HE COULD BE OUT OF THE 2 MANCHESTER GAMES
FUCKING IDIOTIC
Celtic this Wednesday would have been the game to rest Cesc, taking him off at 2-0 up last Tuesday would have been even better but not in a game were it is quite within us to blow it

Why not? Two good wins against two teams having a bad day is hardly reason to suppose we are different from the team that got thrashed 6-0 by Man City or suffered several defeats. We played a more offensive game, of which someone with Cesc's passing was always going to be important so altered midfield 3 a bit and dropped our fullbacks either for more attacking quality or for their poor performances against Celtic.
