Someone take the rope off him!!donaldo wrote:Easy win.Glad Celtic got a consolation for their brilliant fans.
Eduardo cheated there is no way he can be defended.Next time it happens to us dont complain.
Celtics fans can piss off, why would you be glad they scored just because their fans made some noise?

Because they supported their team till the end even when they were 5-0 down in the tie if you cant see that Swale.Look how many of our fans left after an hour in the semi v Man utd.Its called supporting your team till the end.It was a lesson to our JCL"sSwale_Gooner1985 wrote:Someone take the rope off him!!donaldo wrote:Easy win.Glad Celtic got a consolation for their brilliant fans.

Positives:
1) 3-1 and 5-1 on aggregate, can't complain about that
2) Ok Gallas switched off for their goal and didn't move up but was generally superb
3) As was TV while Sagna was solid
4) Denilson scampered harried and kept ball to good effect
5) Eboue was my man of the match, superb performance in first half, behind every attack, not so good in second but did score
6) Eduardo's finishing has been better but movement was very good, showed Van Persie how the role is done
7) Ramsey had shakey start but played really well before hobbling off
8 ) Wilshire got game time
9) Arshavin got a goal which will hopefully boost his confidence
Negatives
1) The dive. Not the worst thing in football (certain "tackles" are far worse as they could hurt someone) and hard to take ITV's moralizing seriously but it was disgraceful. In one act, Eduardo will have forfeited all the good feeling towards him, it would be nice to hear Wenger come out and say it was a dive ala Stuart Pearce. One day, an auto ban for a proven dive will come about I hope
2) Almunia's flappy performance, 3 goals conceded in five I believe now? Does not fill me with confidence going into Man U game though no chance for goal
3) Felt Clichy was fairly poor, one or two times he was out of position
4) Song looked clumsy in tackle, solid in possession but can do far better
5) Diaby seemed anonymous, one good pass for second goal aside
6) Set pieces dreadful
7) Ramsey injury
8 ) Nic, worked hard but had two good chances, didn't take them, failed to beat his man. Better when played as central striker, made some good passes but far from his best game

You can't compare our home fans to their away! it's a completely different mentality.donaldo wrote: Because they supported their team till the end even when they were 5-0 down in the tie if you cant see that Swale.Look how many of our fans left after an hour in the semi v Man utd.Its called supporting your team till the end.It was a lesson to our JCL"s

Agreed. My point was which Swale could not see was their fans were making more noise than ours even when we were 5-0 upg88ner wrote:You can't compare our home fans to their away! it's a completely different mentality.donaldo wrote: Because they supported their team till the end even when they were 5-0 down in the tie if you cant see that Swale.Look how many of our fans left after an hour in the semi v Man utd.Its called supporting your team till the end.It was a lesson to our JCL"s

actually my concern was his missing the cross that Naylor, I think, headed over though given lack of work almunia has had to do, shockingly few cleansheets.Captain Fabregas wrote:
Two goals at end of games where defenders fell asleep, pompey one was prob his fault but maybe a foul.
Hardly fouled for Portsmouth goal, allowed someone to get in front then outjump him 2 yards from his line
Egits on ITV drive me insane, one of their "words of wisdom" was that "The longer it stays nil-nil the more nervous arsenal will get". At first I thought I'd heard wrong but then they said it again. Utter stupidity!!! They're saying that as the time Celtic have to equalise decreases, we get more edgy??
Sure we'd have been shitting ourselves if we were leading 2-0 on aggregae in the 89th minute tonight. FFS.
