As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If you want to try and guess something can I suggest the lottery numbers instead!
Because its an Arsenal Forum and formations and tactics are quite relavant to this thread!!
We have every reason to be confident up there, its a shame its played under "old trafford rules" where the Ref is scared to give the away side any BOD, but I think we can have a good go up there! Looking forward to it!

They are not relevant unless you are picking the team BDB!
Its not a suprise you put a negative slant on something is it!
Let them name a team they would like to see play if they want, im sure it has been done many times before, im sure there will be a thread on boobs in the minute, that will cheer you up.
(although you will moan they are too round, too small, need more investing etc)

The most important thing, assuming Cesc and co are avilable will be the performance. If we go down by the odd goal but play well than I won't be too worried, however if we get rolled over like in the clge games, then I think our mask will have slipped.
A good performance win or lose, then we can go to Citeh in a fortnight with confidence still high. A poor showing however will leave us with a 2 week break feeling sorry for ourselves, and a defeat there would see the wheels come off for sure.
A win however at OT will set us up nicely for international break, with our only concerns being, everyone coming back fit for the Citeh game.
I think we can get at least a win at utd, not necessarily because we are that good, but also because utd are slow starters, and the earlier in the season you visit OT the better chance you have.

Agree, when the fixtures came out I said its a good time to go to OT (much like 2 seasons ago). We look confident and we look determined, won't be easy, but I think we can get a result, a draw is fine, but I think we have a decent chance of a win - they cant be looking forward to playing us right now with their form patchy and some key players out, unlike perhaps the CL games when they probably really fancied it.
Cesc looks to be out, but given that means he wont go with Spain, in the long term, its a decent rest for City away for him, and better for the long-term season.
