The Bear R.I.P (11/10)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The Bear R.I.P (11/10)

usual thread starter… Should explain that the offering posted was the first submitted to onlinegooner for use online. I know it’s been emailed around a bit since yesterday, but I don’t know who the author was. The second offering is obviously a lot more personal and shows how much The Bear touched those that knew him for a 14 year old to take the time and trouble to pay her own tribute in this way.

That was good to read. My condolences to his friends and family.

I hope the crowd cheer his name for the rest of the season.

Some Sunderland fan took a pre-match video of the game around the ground and you can catch the march for Denton towards the end. You can see the Sunderland fans look in astonishment and half shit themselves when they caught the massive crowd going over the Drayton park bridge. Even hearing so many people singing "Who to, Who to be, Who to be a Gooner" on YouTube gave me a buzz and reminded me of the good old days at Highbury when I first started going. Seems like all the real fans turned out for this march and and good on ya. Wish i was there!
