A good performance win or lose, then we can go to Citeh in a fortnight with confidence still high. A poor showing however will leave us with a 2 week break feeling sorry for ourselves, and a defeat there would see the wheels come off for sure.
A win however at OT will set us up nicely for international break, with our only concerns being, everyone coming back fit for the Citeh game.
I think we can get at least a win at utd, not necessarily because we are that good, but also because utd are slow starters, and the earlier in the season you visit OT the better chance you have.
You are hoping that we get at least a win ?? At most what are you hoping for then ?

Personally I wouldnt let diaby anywhere near the starting line up for this one - wednesday's performance v celtic was a lot closer to the real diaby than last saturdays v pompey

From Pravda.com
[quote]But Fabregas is not the only midfielder to have excelled in the Gunners’ new-look 4-3-3 formation. Denilson and Abou Diaby punctuated the side’s impressive opening with some stunning strikes, while Alex Song has received glowing reports playing further back as the midfield anchor.

We CAN Win this...we most definitely Can.....the mancs are not exactly at their best....We have yet to be 'Fully Tested' - However with the added spice of what has gone on in the media regarding Eduardo...I "Know" that the Team will be well fired up for this...Song may seem like a quiet, calm young guy, but he has a very strong mental attitude and takes no shyte...neither do Sagna, Gallas or Vermaelen...and as for RVP - well say no more he hates the mancs as much as we do...we have Arshavin - who given even a glimpse of goal - will put it away...
The thing about today - besides the facts we're missing our Captain (who is a feckin' genius and always plays well against the mancscum) is that if we do win then manure's season is severely affected....ours not as badly....though of course a Win for us would be Brilliant and would throw down the gauntlet to all those wankers in the media etc who wrote us off before the season even began...besides the huge boost it would give the whole squad - knowing they have beaten an arch rival - without (probably) our most influential player and their Captain...
As I say we CAN win this...a win would be Brilliant a draw Okay....
What we really need is for Eduardo to score the winner! Oh! YESSSS!
so
COME ON YOU MIGHTY GUNNERS!!!!!!!
