We are good enough to get a result there today but we need to defend as a unit, something that we were fucking awful at last year.
I am not worried about Cesc being missing for this suprisingly. I think whatever three play acrioss the middle as long as they keep it compact and screen the back four we can really frustrate Man Yoo and the longer that goes on the quieter the crowd will get and cracks will appear!
Sorry to be the voice of doom but the closer it gets the more negative I feel about our chances. Can't agree with you Percy I'm afraid, If the 3 across the middle are Diaby, Song and Denilson and the real manure turn up I don't see the back 4 getting much of a screen at all.

Maybe Chippy but as wonderful a player as Cesc is I do not think he is the most disciplined defensively.
Offensively, Diaby, Song and Denilson are not in the same class as Fabregas but the three of them can protect a back four plus Diaby brings a bit of physical prescence.
Fergie often plays Fletcher against us as he has a track record of bullying our midfield. The above three are not the easiest to bash up in my opinion where as Cesc can be put off his game if it gets a bit lively.
Hope you're right, but one of the best ways to defend against manure is to keep the ball and move it forward. lets face it we're not a "park the bus" type of team. Hope AA can keep them under pressure, and RvP can score a wonder goal.
Part of my problem is I am preparing myself for the worst and hoping for the best.
