silly fucking internationals next week getting in the way already and we are only a month into the season
this will be as tough as going to old twatford so to come away with a win would be a great result.

I'm looking forward to this one,i can see it being the game of the season so far. I actually think this will be harder for us than the United game, it seems strange to say but i think Citeh's midfield and attack are actually more potent this year than Uniteds.

If they go for us, i can see a bit of a goalfest, it will definitely be the biggest test so far for our new CB pairing, it will be interesting to see how they cope with the height and pace of Ade.

Imo this is a more important game for us to get a result in than the United one, the result will give us and them an indication of how they match up to us and what danger if any they pose to our league position.

I'd take a point from this actually. If at the start of the season, we'd been offered 7 points out of 12 from the first four games - three of which are Everton, Man Utd and Man City away - I probably would've taken it.

Far from a disaster, and leaves us in a very good position to challenge for the title.

Why have I got a bad feeling that Adebayor is going to score???

Going to be a tough one but this will be City's first real test of the season so we shouldn't be to worried, two 1-0 wins over average sides isn't form to be scared of.

Being realistic, if we really intruly want to challenge for the title, a win here is essential.

ARSHAVIN READY TO FLY BACK TO LONDON

[quote]Andrey Arshavin has, on his return to Russia to join up with the national team, revealed that his injury is a groin strain but more importantly that he has been injured for some time prior to the Manchester United match.

"I had problems with the groin before and in this match I reached out for the ball and the pain became very sharp."

His intention is to have a scan to determine the seriousness of the injury and if so fly right back to London.

"Of course if the scanning shows that there no or minimal chances to participate in the matches of the national team then I won’t go to St. Petersburg, I will rather return to London."

Unfortunately I cannot calm people down saying that everything is all right with me," said Arshavin.

"It is a fact that I have an injury but there is a question how long will it take to cure itâ€
