Ade-Barndoor might be doing well on the nice, warm sunny days with the ink on his obscene contract barely dry. . . .
BUT
wait til it gets cold
wait til Citeh hit a barren spell
wait til other teams like Bolton work out that Citeh can be stopped if you kick 'em where it hurts
AND more importantly
wait til Hughes rotates his 238 strikers and Barndoor gets to warm the bench
Then his true colours will come out and he'll do exactly what he has done at every other team he has played for. He might have a bit of talent but he's a total primadonna.
Quite a few of my old Gooner mates don't bother going anymore and it's purely down to greedy bastards like Ade-Barndoor!!

I liked that Lee Dixon quite rightly pointed out on MOTD that the fans did love him til he demanded a massive payrise and then looked like he couldnt be arsed.
I really couldnt give a shit about Ade and I think from all the noises coming from Arsenal, neither could they. They all look a lot more together this year.

Fans are only questioning if we were right to sell him because he has scored a couple of goals.... Don't forget all the times last season and he was given chance after chance but couldn't score. He was lazy, wouldn't chase back and didn't look interested. It was right to sell him especially for £25m... Our strikers haven't hit form yet and look how many goals we have scored!!

Does anyone truly believe that the fans have the power to drive out players that are not liked as much as others?
If that was the case I would suggest that certain players such as Eboue would have been out the door long ago.
The simple truth is this. Adebayor used our club as a stepping stone to raise his own personal profile and also the figure on his payslip.
Most, if not all, Arsenal fans liked Adebayor for the first few seasons but he lost a lot of respect when he gave contradicting statements in interviews only half hour apart. After the one good season he had he wanted out believeing that his services and ego were now more suited to a giant such as AC Milan or Barcelona. Arsenal was no longer a big enough club for a guy of limited ability from Togo who had enjoyed one decent season scoring 30 odd goals. A better finisher would have had 40 something in that term as he also missed chance after chance laid on a plate for him by a side that was in full flow.
Adebayor is a mercenary liar who not only tried to mug us off like pricks by claiming his mobile was off all summer but by also kissing the badge when all he wanted was out and a bigger salary. His attitude last season stunk and his body language was indicative of what he thought of his team and us, he couldn't give a flying fuck.
Please stop trying to defend the actions of this ungrateful, deceitful and disloyal wanker and ask yourself a question. Why would we all dislike a player that was scoring goals on a regular basis for us if his conduct towards the club and the supporters was acceptable?
The simple answer is we wouldn't have and we would still be chanting that fucking idiotic song!
One person is responsible for the venom directed at Adebayor and that is the mercenary c**t himself.
Maybe the words should have been " Nail in head" as far as the moneygrabbing one is concerned

We did not get rid of our best striker when that *word censored* Adebayor went! I think tnat RVP, Bendtner and Eduardo (as well as Vela) are all superior players (not to mention Arshavin). In my opinion he is absolute crap and the worst main striker that we have had by some distance under Wenger.
He got 30 goals in one season only (out of 3 full seasons - but how many chances did he need to get those goals? I seem to remeber loads of wasted chances that season, especially at Birmingham in the Eduardo injury game, that maybe cost us the championship) and quite frankly he contributed little else to the overall team display - in fact he seemed a hinderance most of the time to the team playing the passing game that is so good to watch. I for one was always delighted when he was not on the team sheet as the team were far more enjoyable to watch without him.
To even talk about him in the same breath as Henry is an insult to Thierry (who is surely the greatest striker ever to grace the red and white of Arsenal and I still miss him even now!). Henry consistantly got this kind of total (and more - was it 39 in the unbeaten season?) for 7 or 8 consecutive seasons as well contributing enormously to the overall team display with countless assists etc.
Any half decent main striker playing for Arsenal should expect to get at least that total with the chances that we create. Let us also not forget that he scored two hat tricks against Derby that season and so 6 of his goals (out of 30 or one fifth) came against a team that had the worst record of any team ever to play in the Premier League by some distance.
Add to this his extremely poor attitude, his constant "whoring" of himself to other clubs in Europe and his disruptive influence on the rest of the dressing room then I would say that £25M for that *word censored* is exceptionally good business especially when you consider that we only paid £15M for Arshavin. Swap Arshavin for Adebayor and still have £10M change? Sounds like an exceptional deal to me. Could you imagine Adebayor getting those 4 goals at Liverpool or even the one at Old Trafford? No neither can I!

The fans drove him out???? Who are you, his agent?
HE drove himself out with his sulking, lack of effort, disloyalty, lack of knowledge of the offside rule and his ego.
Nothing to do with the Arsenal fans.
As for damaging the team, we may have less goal threat with him gone but that is not the fans fault....it's Wenger's for not replacing him

After that season 07/08 he tried ,to no avail, to get a move to milan, barca etc so did we try to hound him out then???NO, wenger stupidly,in hindsight, gave him a huge pay rise and how did he repay us he did FUCK all.you could say he cost us points with his lazy attitude and it also affected the team.
Now that he's gone the team are playing as a team and the results are proof that greedywhore became a hindrance and bad influence on the squad!!!!He's on a roll now but give it time he revert back to his lazy, arrogant and self-righteous mercenary we all know he is.
Fuck him, he got what he deserved! That lazy pile of ***** couldn't give a fuck about the fans all he cares about is the money. Its easy for that twat to come out and say now that the fans were the ones drove him out of the club. What complete and utter bullshit spouted from the mouth of this tosser. I hope we give it to him next game.
