Emirates Wave

Post by DDignam »

I remember teh dennis bergkamp ame, ajaz fans started a mexican wave, highlight of that day (among others)

We should have a mexican wave moment every game. I was at sundeland game last year and even they had one (and it made a good atmosphere)

I propose that whenever we start clapping and jeering every pass, way way way way . the red action block shoudl start a mexican wave, really show them were taking the piss

plus i think it will get everyone in teh ground involved, rather than red action and next to teh away fans

The press shall call it the emirates wave

No not for me. I hate the Mehican wave. I think it looks jeuvanile and is not a way of supporting the team. At DB10's testimonial it was started 'cos the game wasn't exactly entertaining at the time. It distracts the fans from the game as they watch the wave go round and round. I'd rather concentrate on singing the praises of the boys in Red.

Isn't the reason that a mexican wave is started is because everyone is bored shitless, it's normally to make up for a complete lack of atmosphere. Should do well up the seven sisters then!!.
