He has always been a man of his word regarding contracts so he wont walk and the club will NEVER sack him so this isnt last chance saloon, you are right g88nerg88ner wrote:I'd be very suprised if Wenger doesn't see out his contract (2011) and I can't see the board sacking him... so is this the last chance saloon?? I don't think so, no.

well, i unfortunately don't have a cristal ball like you do. i don't know if they'll be fit the whole season. maybe yes, maybe no. maybe they'll get injured one at a time and senderos will never play. i really don't know. and neither do you.TeeCee wrote: How long will both Gallas and TV stay fit, it won't be long!
well, i don't expect diaby to do a stepanov's every game. specially just after he played a wonderful match and scored 2 great goals.TeeCee wrote: Midfield working wonders.....mmmmm well we've already started to see the other side with Diaby's own goal, Cesc is already injured and we have no backup in Songs position at all.
but yeah, if he scores one own goal per match, then yes, we're fucked. i don't think he will, though.
cesc is not injuried anymore, he'll even play for spain.
and yes, cover for song is a problem, i agree there.
i haven't seen enough of denilson as the DM in a 3-man central midfield yet, though. he may step up, like song did. who knows?
we have one the best finishers in the league coming back to good shape, that may change. arshavin is also quite prolific if you ask me, as well. you don't score 4 goals at anfield every day, do you?TeeCee wrote: Yes, our attack has created shit loads of chances for the last 5 years but haven't managed to put too many of them away, and with the non-prolific strikers we now have, that is unlikely to change.
and rvp is a good finisher, he'll probably step up.
yeah, it does look good.TeeCee wrote: It's easy to say it looks great now, it does look good, but the PL is over 9 months not the first 4 or 5 games and you have to look at our squad and it's no better than the last few seasons where we've continually failed. There is no logical reason for that to change without new quality players.
and no, it's not the same squad. it's improved, it has gelled better and its more confident and has higher workrate than last season.
