CHELSEA BANNED FROM SIGNING PLAYERS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If this ban sticks (and i for one hope it does), I can see Roman Abromavich seriously reconsider his role at the club.

Weren't they also fined and warned after they tapped up two Leeds youth team players a couple years ago?

I have a feeling this will stick because The Perverted Poodle hates English clubs and hates the Russian Gangster even more...

oh, and HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Hmmm, not quite sure, let's face it, he's hardly been spending any of his money lately, what with his vast wealth deminishing of late...

Radford again states that this ban is OVER THE TOP and is wrong. all clubs do this sort of thing. its no different to us obtaining cesc or clichy.

anyway Radford doubts it will stand up in court

Not sure if it’s exactly the same cos the thing about this case is he was supposedly under contract, which is what Chelsea are being punished for. Whereas with Cesc he wasn’t. Not saying we necessarily have the moral high ground but from a purely legal point of view it seems we exploited a loophole, they broke the rules.

But, I agree they'll quite likely somehow get it reduced at least to 1 transfer window. And I am half-expecting FIFA to try & come after us too at some point so I’m only half laughing at the Chav twats expense. For now.
