OK, where to start - well, I was born into this religion so didn't really have much of a say about it. My first game was Arsenal v Coventry at Highbury in 97. I can't say I remember too much about the game other than being mesmerised by the contrasting colours of sky blue and red against the vivid green of the turf, and the way the sunlight hit the sleeves of the Arsenal shirts making them seem the most brilliant white I'd ever seen. Oh yes, and my Dad going absolutely mental when his favourite all-time Arsenal player, Wrighty, scored twice. I'd never seen him so animated ever and it was my first introduction to a game that can touch the deepest passions of even the most reserved and formal of people (if you've met my Dad, you'd understand!)franksav63 wrote:Nice one Tasha, why don't you tell us more about yourself, introduce yourself properly....like your first Arsenal game, etc...
What else to say? You know that my favourite player ever is Bobby, marginally ahead of TH14, DB10, Freddie and Marc Overmars. If you were to ask me who was the greatest player I've ever seen play, I couldn't choose between Thierry and Dennis.
I've just started my last year at school, I'd like to study sports science at uni and I have to make my applications this term. I'm currently in negotiations with various members of my family who have very old fashioned views about studying "proper" subjects. I'm confident of eventual success but the one worrying sanction they have is the withdrawal of season ticket privileges.

Funnily enough, I remember that game against Coventry well... nice touch about the sunlight, but I'm certain it was a Monday night matchtasha7 wrote:[
