How do you reckon American Football players would react being thrown into a real contact sport?

I'd expect some squealed questions like:

"No helmets??"

"No padding!?!?!"

"No breaks?"

Do you mean Aussie rules or rugby league or both? Must admit the Aussie rules players are nutters :)

I like Aussie rules but prefer rugby union to league

I'm a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. I'm going to the first home game at Cowboys Stadium on Sept. 20th when they play the Midgets of New York. Can't wait till we prove everyone wrong and make it to the Superbowl and win. I think Cowboys v Patriots Superbowl.

I think it might also explain Number 5’s love of NFL (having read the Highbury memory thread)!

By the sound of it a Browns/Raiders match would be right up his alley!

Big storm in Dallas caused it, big shame. One of the coaches that was injured is the special teams coach and had his neck broken, but is back coaching which is great to see.

I must admit when the commentators use phrases like "deep in the endzone" "it's really long" "he's going deep" "here comes a Hail Mary (For all the alter boys)" and "they're lining up in the wildcat" it sends a certain tingle down mine spine, conjouring up memories of a more innocent time.

Aaaah, a life half lived is a life wasted. 8)
