Denilson Vs Anderson?

Post by Ted B »

Not a rant, just can't believe that I've been arguing all day with someone who is adamant that Denilson is better, all in all  How he came to that conclusion, I'll never know, but he wasn't joking. His main arguement was that the stats show our number 15 has the most successful pass rate or something. No need to guess what I told him about that.

Just wanted to ask, what is Denilson actually good at? Not a piss take, just a question. :? I can't come up with much, apart from a good shot technique every now and then.

Also, I'm aware that Anderson is overrated/hyped, but the suggestion that Denilson is better than him is still highly laughable. :-P

I think Denilson's a lot better than some give him credit for.

Is he better than Anderson?? - I honestly don't know, as apart from when they play us, I never watch any of our rivals anymore as I hate watching them score 90th minute winners and getting dodgy penalties.

So, all I can say is that I'm reasonably happy with the progress and potential that Denilson is showing; and I'm confident he'll become a very good player.

Although, I've no doubt Anderson will win by a landslide, as Song, Denilson, Almunia, Eboue, Bendtner, and Diaby are about as popular on this forum as a Muslim at a BNP rally

Anderson is so overhyped its unbelievable, he don't score in a team that has a potent attack, assist? No, he uses his ass to nug players off the ball, he used to dribble in porto but that seems to have been left in portugal.

Yes in his first season he did well as Fergie's hound dog stopping Gerrard and Cesc e.t.c but he has been found out and till now even he doesnt know what position he plays, is it as an attacking midfield which he was in porto or a dm or winger.

The only thing Anderson has over Denilson is pace and power everything else Denilson is equal or better.

two players i watch for a long long time, and i chose denilson because what's asked is who i choose for the middle of the park. anderson became a central midfielder only when he arrived at old trafford - he was always a winger/attacking midfielder and even a striker @ gremio. look at the post and video i put on about the batalha dos aflitos and you'll get what i mean. anderson can't mark his name on a paper sheet, so no, i'd choose denilson every day.

but if you ask me who's more talented, than that's another question. if you ask who's better, is like asking 'who's better? seaman or ian wright? different positions, hard to say.

the fact that fergie plays him as a CM is for me way more bizarre than AW playing bendtner as a winger...

Have you ever watched anderson?? Frankly, theres nothing good about him. He plays cm gives the ball up waaaay too much, he fouls excesively, doesn't create chances, and I don't think he's ever scored for United either(other than penalties in extra time). All the people that I have met that support United HATE anderson.

Denilson while not being the best cm is not all that bad. He might just pass sideways most of the time but is a lot more consistent than anderson. Denilson creates chances, scores once in a while, and is a bit more technical than anderson.

Denilson is by far a better player than anderson.

Not to mention that stupid ass song that the united supporters sing about him shitting on Fabregas gets on my tits. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I'm a big admirer of Anderson, he's fast and strong whilst Denilson is weak and slow. Denilson is a good player, better than most give credit for but his physical attributes let him down.

I thought that anderson was going to be a real player for the mancs after his first season with them but now I would pick denilson in our team ahead of him every day of the week and twice on a sunday 8)

United paid alot of money for Anderson. Anderson is undoubtably better than Denilson.

They're both highly-rated brazilian youngsters who have failed to live up to their billing thus far. Anderson is the more skilful and all-round better player of the two so I'd take him ahead of Denilson.

i hope you dont mean that as a reason..

if anderson had played a full season of premiership football like denilson did last year then i think he would be streets ahead, regardless i would still pick anderson over denilson as he has what i would call '*word censored* factor'( i wish cheryl would do that show) which we are completely missing,ie keown adams an paddys..............

Ferguson plays Anderson in the games he needs him in.Wenger plays Denilson week in week out regardless. That says more about our manager than anything else
