anthony stokes is not gay. what he is is an absolute twat and a pisshead. had a lot of talent but i suspect wenger had already figured out that the lad was likely to chuck it all away or piss it up the wall

spent the vast majority of his time at sunderland drinking in the glass spider, got in a fair bit of bother- drink wasnt his only vice anarl. Arsenal did well to get rid of him when they did and to get good money for him, i'm just glad that eventually we have got rid as well

Could have gone on to be a very good player but will instead get a moderate return in the scottish prem and will eventually go on to be an average CCC/ League 1 striker and will regret it in later life. Maybe if we had had a proper manager like Steve Bruce at the time we may have managed to stop him wasting his talent but, unfortunately, we didnt get bruce until it was too late.
