MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chavs have equalised, the scousers have gone 2 up and we aint even had a shot on target   On 35mins sagna whipped in a great cross........well it would have been a great cross if bedtner and some other players were in the box but we only had rvp competing with lescott and kolo and there was only going to be 1 winner there and it aint the dutchman

Given has had nothing to do bar the odd goal kick and back pass. That says it all. No Arshavin - no incisiveness or invention.

we've been dreadful.

Cesc and Van Persie in particular.

And what the fuck is wrong with Almunia, he's been shocking so far this season.

Oh Manuel Almunia...why oh why...anyone else having daydreams (well for me they're just regular dreams) of Given actually being in an Arsenal shirt??

I mean...for a few seconds there, I could've sworn the Etihad on his shirt said 'Emirates'.

And I would like to echo my brother's words: "I hope Adebayor leaves the field on a stretcher." :D

I have just one solution: Send out Rosicky! :barscarf:

from about 6 pages ago if this is the case we have no chance!
BT wrote:I've a feeling this might come down to a battle of the keepers - Given is on top form, Almunia is below par. I hope it isnt so but while they're not scoring many, they havent let any in so far and we haven't got Arshavin to create something out of nothing. We really need to take our chances and take them early.

I miss Super Sam. The kid could read a game better than some of Arsene's new hopes (... Diaby) and was always fighting.
Rosicky for Diaby, swap Bendtner and RVP, pull Song to defend the back 4, let Fab free to roam up and let Denilson control the midfield ahead of Song.
