MAN CITY THREAD
RIP Arsenal, we've become a complete farce with no vision or fight.
It realy started around 2005 though. The board & AW have shafted us in the arse as they allow us to sell off our squad, use the profits to pay off some failed crackpot housing scheme and bring in players with no footballing intelligence to replace the likes of Vieira, Pires, Henry etc.
I feel like crying.

This sums up the last few complacent years at Arsenal FC. The players are as good as they will get, there has been no proper strenghening for at least 5 years now but somehow- mainly due to the lack of a consistent challenger- we have managed to scrape into the top 4 each year. The writing was on the wall for this squad as a serious threat at the end of the 2007-2008 season, when with a few extra players we may well have won the league. Now, two years on, the players have all reached full potential but aren't good enough to win the league or even seriously challenge for it.
Wenger and the board can fob us off with crap year after year but as it stands, the club is not good enough to even finish in the top 4 of the division, which highlights a dramatic drop in fortunes. Wenger is paid to manage the team, seek new players and find the best ways to win games. At this moment in time, he is failing to do that. Whether it is he who is responsible or the board, there has been a fundamental and systematic failure at the top of the club for a long time. The complacency and the belief that nobody will break up the top 4 boys' club has now got to end. Wenger is the man that is fiddling while Rome burns and something has to be done.

guys, i dunno what to say. i think we should do something against adebayor, like celtic did against eduardo. he stamped van persie for c***st's sake. What gets me really nervous is that furious running towards our fellow gooners. if i was there i'd have killed him. i hope he gets mugged tonight in fcukchester. However, i agree with the guy who said this is a new low point. this is THE low point. guys, we're dropping down to a lower tier. Top4 finish highly at risk.

wish i never asked now, my blood is boiling

Theres an obvious lack of motivation in our players . Most of them barring 1 or 2 , just stroll around the pitch for 90 minutes as if its some training exercise . Sagna is too monotonous and predictable. Diaby outdribbles himself, the prick. Van persie is becoming more and more ineffective .
There was an immediate zip to our game after Rosicky's entry . And this was his first game in 20 months for fucks sake. Why doesnt Wenger give Eduardo a start is totally beyond me.
The 6-1 at everton was just because everton let us score and pass the ball around them . Any team that roughs us up , and we simply fall apart . The way they opened us up with every attack at the end was shocking .
Wenger needs to get his act together and start making some tough decisions . We have a lazy spastic bunch representing us now im afraid.

I'm finding myself agreeing with a lot of things you are saying right now.Yankee_Gooner_Dandee wrote:and if i were there (oh man i wish i was) no security guard would have stopped me from getting my hands on that piece of shit and the jail time would have been well worth me ending his fucking career
I wish I was a pro player, just so I could maim him, Roy Keane style.
