HIS MAKES THIS SEASON
1 Goal v Pompey. Very soft goal - very weak in the air.
2 1 and half v ManUre. Gift's ManUre Peno and they score. Partly at fault for 2nd as he calls for ball but is nowhere near it.
3 2 and a half v Man City. First goal is og due to diving too late and very poor footwork. The 2nd from Bellamy was very saveable, so saveable I've seen poor 'keeper's saving those. Their final goal - when your one on one with a player a 'keeper has to make him self big and not go down too early...needless to say he did neither.

lehmann was 100 times better than alumina, to go unbeaten and to play a MASSIVE part in getting your team to the cl final, well that takes a good goalie. i loved lehmann and his madnessNumber 5 wrote:Is this more selective recall regarding Lehmann? He got dropped for two mistakes yes but he made a shit load in the previous years. Al's gotta go but it can't be till Jan at the earliest now.donaldo wrote:The reason he is first choice is Fabianski his deputy is even worse than him. That says how bad we are in the goalkeeping department. He is an average keeper
Remember Wenger dropped Lehmann after two mistakes

no he is not, he is an average keeper who is not good enough for a team that has designs on winning things123456arsenal wrote:Lets not join the bandwagon ppl, Almunia is a solid keeper.

yup....almunia is a Fecking JOKE...but no one's laughing except him, his agent and all other (non-Arsenal) fans he has already cost us 2 games - it was obvious that whoever scored the first goal in yesterdays game would be more likely to win the game........flapper fabianski is even worse!spid wrote:That goalkeeper is a fool. He must be the worst keeper in the division. He's indecisive, afraid of getting a belt, lacks authority and is guaranteed to cost you 12 to 15 goals a season. He has cost us at least 4 goals already this year and that's being kind. Why didn't Wenger buy Given when he had the chance. Almunia is a muppet and if anyone thinks we will win anything with him in goal you are mad.

AW had the opportunity to buy Given for £6mill.....loooong before shitty started splashing their cash.....but no he stickes with the waiter
(waiting for the ball to come to him instead of actually MOVING!!!

He could have bought Rob Green - who is far more solid, reliable, or even Cuducini on a free!! FFS!

I've defended him more than most on here (mainly because his understudy is one of the biggest clowns I've ever seen in an Arsenal shirt).
However, I have to say - the penalty at OT....mindless and rash
The first Citeh goal yesterday......I think the dive happened in installments.
His confidence looks shot to me
