Firstly guys, im expecting the newpapers and media to reignite its continuing insight into the plight of english football due to loads of foreigners, so yet again arsenal will be responsible. Secondly, im not sure if im too bothered if engerland go out; we have many overrated and overpaid w**kers in our team, and the only highlights have been the progress of barry and richards in recent months. I think missing out on the championships may do us some good, the next manager may actually give people a chance outside 'the top 4' or so and allow people with pride to wear our shirt. The english defence is shit!!
Also, any comments on whether the israeli-russia connection between abramovich and grant may 'affect' the game between the two sides: i wouldnt be surprised as both nations are pretty corrupt but you never know.
Penultimately, i actually like to see the scottish, welsh, irish and northern irish sides to do well than england (not in a patronising way) but for some reason i prefer their players who dont seem to be so up their own arses - bar robbie keane and any other spud affiliated player. Good luck to scotland tonight, it would be nice to see franc eor italy not make it either, and altho wales and ireland have been rather poor, be nice to see them have a reasonable result or too. And it would be nice to see n.ireland to do the double over spain!!

Finally, on a more personal note i'd like to see england fail to qualify just to piss off rio ferdinand who hasnt played in a euro championships yet. Ha ha Rio, you've been merked!!

n.b. just like to note that i do want england to qualify, im just not that botehred either way - besides we may get some unbiased reporting during the championships without a half time gossip on how england are doing!!

I sincerely doubt that we won't be getting to the European Championships. It is still in our (and I use the term 'our' loosely as I don't really follow the national side) hands, so all is not lost.

With that said, I do agree that not qualifying could be a real kick up the arse and one that we quite obviously need. I think that Gary Barry (ha) is over-hyped, but I do believe that Micah Richards is a very, very talented youngster. I'd love to see us snap him up, but for many reasons I doubt it will ever happen.

No doubt he'll be warming the Chelsea bench in a few years time...

I think TS that its not in our own hands if Russia win both games they have left its all over but to be honest i couldnt give a shit either way

You mean like Robinson? Or Richards? Or Taylor? Or Lescott? Or recalled Cambell? Or Shorey? Or traitor boy? Or Downing? Or Heskey? Or Nugent? The problem isn't so much pride but England players not being that good

the England defence has conceded 4 goals in 11 games, hardly shit. Did you even watch them last night? Lescott aside, the back four (five if you count Robinson) were superb as the midfield got overwhelmed.
