Well, if you must - but you might be a bit screwed if it goes wrong. the only place in the world they're sold unlocked is Australia.
The iPhone's warranty is honoured in the country where it was sold officially only. If a problem develops with your iPhone that requires an exchange under warranty while your iPhone remains under warranty (the iPhone includes a one year warranty beginning on the purchase date), you would need to return to the country where it was bought with your iPhone to exchange the it under warranty.

**** your brand loyalty is admirable but everything can and does have the potential to go wrong.
Especially Iphones when Apple bring out a software update - their latest effort caused battery draining for no apparent reason.
I've got a 1st gen Iphone, my battery life is currently crap, the last update made it decide to put a third homepage on for reasons only known to itself, it failed completely in Cyprus and I couldn't make calls or send texts (only to come back to life back in the UK), and its lost the ability to connect to my wireless network. I haven't done anything to it or made any changes, this is just the kind of thing it does.
Good luck!

Yep - tune in here tomorrow!!Percy Dalton wrote:Everyone I know who has an iPhone has had problems with it.
We await the didlo iPhone thread!
My issues are relatively minor - but try phoning Apple for support - if you can actually find a number, the people you speak just guess a lot - they never actually know whats wrong with your phone and how to fix it.
