As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It wasnt the best performance, but we came from 2-0 down, it will be greta for the squad and will do our confidence the world of good!
Believe it or not Standard Liege are not rubbish, and neither are we!
But they are shit, possibly the weakest team in the group and we were shit too, if we had played a stronger side we would have lost. This just shows that we are weak, and we will continue to be weak until Wenger admits his mistakes and strengthens, somehow I cant see Wenger ever admitting hes wrong

He won't because he is stubborn and predictable...
theres "rosetinting" and theres being a football fan. We played shit but dominated the match, scored 2 good goals (and a fortunate one) and we won. You've got to be pleased. Playing badly and winning is 2nd only to playing well and winning.
wenger just said we didnt play badly, but we played against a hugely motivated side, i have heard commitment said twice, no spirit or passion mentioned yet.....
