What game to take the missus to?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I bet you have cheeky!

First game i took the missus too was pompey 2-2 last year and she was a little overawed, she never saw so many men hugging screaming and going mental. Fulham 3-1 she enjoyed more but she got too pissed and ended up ahving a barney with me

In response to which game u shoudl take the missus to'onemoreminute', i dont think it matters, but all i can say is no game is complete for ya both unless to u take a trip to the aqua sauna  8)

I took my wife to Wembley for one of our Champions League matches. She didn't really enjoy it, perhaps it was the company

My trips to watch Arsenal are very much my time and I personally wouldn't want to take my wife on a regular basis.

I am struggling to be willing to take my boys, not sure I am ready for the family enclosure just yet  Perhaps next year.

My advice would be choose a big match, let her experience the atmosphere at it's best. Above all do not be disappointed if she does not "Get it".

I hope she enjoys it :D

But if you go and experience the atmosphere at it's best for the first time then she'll think it is like that all the time. I guess it's all swings and roundabouts. It is not just the big matches that win you the league (obviously).

THE PROBLEM WITH TAKING A VIRGIN 'UP THE ARSE' FOR THE FIRST TIME ON A BIG OCCASION IS THAT THE DEFLATION, IF THE RESULT DOESN'T WORK OUT HOW YOU WOULD HAVE WISHED, COULD HAVE DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES ON ANY FUTURE ARRANGEMENTS, LET ALONE WHAT IT WILL DO FOR YOUR 'EGO'! .

ALTHOUGH ALMOST NO MATCH-UP CAN REALLY BE CONSIDERED 'EASY', I NORMALLY LIKE TO TREAT 'FIRST-TIMERS' TO A GAME THAT IN MY CONSIDERATION WE ARE MORE THAN LIKELY TO HAVE SUCCESS WITH, EVEN IF WE ARE NOT AT OUR BEST.

THAT WAY, WE CAN BOTH RELAX BEFORE HAND WITH A DRINK OR TWO AND NOT HAVE TO REALLY WORRY ABOUT WHETHER THE ACTUALLY PERFORMANCE WILL LIVE UP TO ALL THE PROMISE! :? 8)

USING THIS METHOD, ALTHOUGH NOT GUARANTEED, IS MORE LIKELY TO ENSURE THAT YOU SUCCEED AND THAT YOU HAVE BOTH A PLEASURABLE AND MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE AT THE END OF THE EVENING. 8)

SO IN SUMMARY, MY ADVICE IS THIS: WHENEVER TAKING SOMEONE 'UP THE ARSE' FOR THE FIRST TIME, MAKE SURE IT IS A GENTLE INTRODUCTION, WITH PLENTY OF LUBRICATION BEFORE-HAND AND, HOPEFULLY, YOU WILL BOTH HAVE A WONDERFUL CLIMAX AFTERWARDS!! 8)
