In and Outs

Well as we are looking forward to next Season we might as well start preparing now. Who would we like (at least half realistically) to see in and out in time for next season?

Out:

Baptista (sent back)
Reyes
Senderos
Lehmann
Muamba

In:

Gomes
Bendtner (recalled)
Carragher
Stam
Eto

Out

Baptista (Not top class)

Senderos ( A move to West ham?)

Aliadiere (Has had enough chances)

Lungberg (Poor Freddie he is more injured than fit)

Lehmann (He has been great for us but his age is
against him,Lots of errors this season)

Almunia (Never going to be a number 1 time for a
younger number 2 Carson maybe)

In

Gomes

Ronaldinho (He needs a new challenge
and he would fit in perfectly
to our style of play)

A decent right back (but who?)

OUT:

-Lehmann (Depends on the contract situation)

-Aliadiere (Needs to 1st team football & won't get it with us)

-Reyes (He hates this country)

-Senderos (He'll want 1st team football, someone might come in for him)

-Beast (Sent back)

-Adebayor?? (I hope not, but he wants a new contract & Man Utd are interested, might he be tempted??)

IN:

-Eto'o (If we can get him, would be an incredible signing)

-Gomez/Given/Buffon (Anyone one of them would be a great replacement)

-Torres (The quality finisher we need)

-A Winger who can play both sides.

Yea sorry Song was a recall for me, some of his passing for Charlton has been fantastic, he has been picking out beckham like 30 - 40 yarders which look fantastic!

I did toy with the idea of Freddie out as mentioned about because he has lost one too many yarsd of pace and his game was strictly based around that, however we cannot get rid of all our experienced heads!

I also toyed with alliadiere, i think we need to give him a run until the end of the season perhaps on the left wing, bring diaby into the centre where he belongs and hleb on the bench when rosicky is fit

I dont agree with Almunia out, i don't think he has put a foot wrong all season and i personally would like to give him a go as number oen if we dont get a fantastic keeper and spend the moeny on a new strong central defender to protect him

out.........
BAPTISTA(not through choice for me,showed some good quality)
SENDEROS(has no confidence on the ball....or on the pitch)
ALMUNIA(No real quality for a number 1 shirt)
ALIEALDIER(has been at the club long enough)
POOM(why was he signed????)
REYES(has no place in London or our club)

in.............

JONNY EVANS(at man u,on loan at sunderland and running the show only 19 and from northern ireland......ok ok im biased i know!! DEFENDER-can play anywhere along back line would be good utility player)
SCOTT PARKER/JOEY BARTON TYPE MIDFIELDER(need a bit of muscle in midfield)
THIERRY HENRY(could the real king henry please stand up!!)

I personally dont think we need to bring in many players,we need the other strikers not to be afraid to shoot and always look for thierry, same goes for the midfield.Van persie has been the player of the season for me and hes been the most missed player all year, never afraid to shoot, hes all heart and with any luck he'll be the new bergkamp

Ins and Outs

Post by Redexpress »

Despite this being a disastrous couple of weeks, it could be a bit of a wake up call for AW.

He has rested on his laurels a little in the past when players like Senderos finished the season well and then failed to produce the following season. Maybe he will feel the need to make a good signing in the summer.

I only hope Diaby doesn't disappoint if he gets a good run in the team next season.

We need an absolutely top quality central defender- I am still not convinced that Gallas is the real deal. And he has been a bit injury prone.

Freddie is past it (it hurts to admit it but it's true), although I think otherwise we are still strong in midfield.

Hleb is possibly the most gifted ball player around and if he could actually turn this skill into regular goals and assists he would be an absolute dream of a player. Rosicky needs to stay fit and score 10 goals a season.

Other than this, with Henry and Robin on form we would have the goals we have lacked this season and we would probably still be in with a shout in 2 competitions.

And we have Cesc who will be a world player of the year before too long.

Well I think the general opinion is that the Beast will go return to Spain . In my view I think it would be the right decision as We have Bendtner to come back from Birmingham. According to the papers today it looks like Fabrice Muamba will go to Brum too and we will have first refusal on him should we ever want him back.

OUT BAPTISTA (With RVP and Bendtner and Adebayor and Henry and Alidiere do we need a 6th striker? I include Alidiere because I think if he was going to go he would have gone in Jan and now he getting a few games which is what he wants )

LJUNGBERG A great servant for the club but all those injuries have taken their toll on Fred and he has lost some of his pace and has been on the treatment table more than the pitch this season.

Lehmann The great will he or wont he one! I think that he will go . Wenger doesn't give out two year deals to over 30's and I doubt if he will start it with Jens.

Reyes Er not even worth putting up a reason I think we all know!

IN Scott Carson - Fantastic at the Emirates earlier in the season and saved Charlton from an even greater beating. Almunia has done well but Im not sure if he is a number 1

Frank Ribery Marseille will their place apart if he leaves but what a player. Anybody remember another French wide man we bought from Marseille?!

Well thats all I could come up with. There are a few shouts on here for Gareth Bale and as much as I like the look of him we have Clichy and understudy to him who will come on even more leaps and bounds is Troare.

A quick note on Alex Song . I watched him a few times and he didnt look bothered or upto Arsene's usual standard but since he has gone to Charlton he has been getting rave reviews and has been pinging around a range of passing and cross field 30-40 year balls!
ARSENE KNOWS !!!
