Sorry but if you mean our Smudger then I have to disagree with you. He was a great player for us and when Suffolk and I took him accosted him in Paddy Power on the Holloway Road he was more than happy to come to the Rocket in support of the Ray Kennedy Fund Raiser that was taking place there. Top man in my opinion.

Blimey, never knew our former No.9 was disliked by some people. Admittedly I don't read his column that often but on the TV I can't remember a time where I thought he needed to shut his gob.
Loved the man when he was up front for us and the fact he scored and made the other on 26 May 1989.....

Now as for the Yorkshire Alan Smith, agreed, complete twat.

As a football legend Alan Smudger Smith cannot be knocked.....he scored way too many great goals in our history....i cannot knock him at all....

what he does as a pundit is up to him....if he says something bad about Arsenal....so what!!! I think he has earned the right to knock our precious club...Redkrapp has no right....Alan Smudger Smith has every single right to say what he likes...the man is a legend....nuff said

Agree with Muttley & E-W. However much of a twat of a pundit he is (and he can be!), when you weigh that up against Copenhagen 94, top scorer in 89, including the first goal that night, etcâ€¦ I think his score on the old Cuntometer is pretty low.

Plus, he never comes across as a complete c*nt on Sky. Then again, next to Gray, Keys, Redknobb, etc technically you could be a complete & utter c*nt & still come up smelling like Baby Jesusâ€™ first fart. So maybe he is after all.
