As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wandering around some of the competition and found this. I don't think its been on here before but if it has I look forward to the abuse.

Sorry its a link but its a pdf and I can't work out how to show it on here. Its a mock up of how one of the outside murals would look.

Pretty cool I think. 8) 8) 8)

PS I also know where Smoothy is hanging out. :eh: :eh:

First exterior core is being put up yesterday and today as a trial run. If they are not happy with it for whatever reason then they will take it down again before Saturday. However if all goes to plan it will stay up and then the other cores will be completed over the coming weeks.

Internally the lower concourses are coming along and more stuff has been done since the pompey game. Again not all finished as there have been some issues and changes of design etc.

The Cannon on the seats has also had its design changed slightly and in an attempt to get it accurate there will be probably be further changes. Unfortunately due to the huge size of our seats they do cause problems when trying to get the details right!

The 'shrine' will also be in place very soon.

Presumably there will be four of these equidistant around the stadium ?

If so - will each segment feature a different group of players from our memorable history, in effect making an 'all time greats squad', or will they simply skimp on cost and be lazy and feature the same five six players in all four segments ?

Plainly the former is the correct route. Does anyone know ?

My understanding is that there will be eight murals covering each of the 8 'cores' with each mural depicting four diferent players, 32 different players in total.

Looks on the webcam that the first one is currently going up opposite the North Bank Bridge.
