WIGAN HOME

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I dont' do it at home games as I'm there (except this Wednesday) but you can either watch games on the tele with a laptop open checking others comments through-out the game.
Or most poeple like me when we play away games will be on PC's or laptops watching a Stream of the game anyway.
it so easy to open another tab or window and comment on the game.
I still dont comment during the game even if im watching it on a stream, i just tend to watch the game, plenty of time to comment afterwards!

God I wish I was as brilliant a fan as Swale. :bowing21:

Agree with swearydad. They must have fouled us 20+ times in the first half but our lads got booked.

As others have said Cesc was unbelievably crap. Not just off it, but bad. Love to know what's going on.

Apart from that a pretty decent performance punctuated by moments of total panic and unmitigated shite!

Eboue and RvP need lessons in how to stand up! :x However I think I have a manly crush on the verminator, he is the dogs. 8) :barscarf:

Good to get a clean sheet but I'm sure I'not the only to have soiled myself a few times esp when they had the goal disallowed and the ping pong in the area. :speechless: :speechless:

Still an enjoyable day for once. :barscarf:

was at the game, and can any1 remember as bad a performance from an away team in the emirates era, as that of wigan?? 8-0 would not have flattered us, as wigan were awfull. on the eboue subject, aye, he was ok, but lets face it, he would never ever play like that against even an average team, hes still shite, and thats eddys goal. great 2 c rosicky back, cant wait till hes back 2 hos best, so we dont even have 2 look at no.27 again.

Save us, Save us Tom
Save us, Save us Tom
Save us, Save us Tom
Save us from Eboue.

 :-P

Problem with Eboue is that even though he tries, like too many others, there is no consistency in end product.

I think what this game showed as did the Pompey game is that the gap between the top few teams and the bottom teams seems to have got bigger...the fact that once the first goal goes in we seem to be able to brush aside these teams so easily without even playing well and yet struggle against any kind of quality shows it's not that we are improving it's that they are getting worse and in a lot of cases those teams are coming to the Grove, OT, Anfield or the Bridge with absolutely no ambition at all other than damage limitation... of course with the odd upset or exception.
